Had a little fun yesterday morning with this transfer switch, it was right full of hornets. This customer had the transfer switch installed by someone else and then contacted us to tie in their new cottage power. There were some mounting holes that were left exposed allowing insects to get in, when a transfer switch or meter base is installed outdoors we like to try and seal up any holes for a couple of reasons, keeping moisture out and insects out.
