THANK YOU to everyone who participated in last night's International Women's Day event! It was AMAZING!! Thanks to the organizers, Roz, Mark & team at The Stayish, the talented singers, the people that sent in nominations and the 3 organizations - HCFBDC; Huron Women's Shelter & CMHA Exeter/Goderich. CONGRATULATIONS to the nominees! You are very dedicated to your communities and make Huron County a better place!

We'd like to start the New Year out by sending a BIG Thank You to the many businesses who helped us with our modified Christmas Party. Even though we weren't ab...le to meet in person for our traditional Christmas Dinner, dancing and visit from Santa himself, we were able to provide 48 families with a Family Game Night Gift Basket. These baskets included 3 games, snacks, a grocery store gift card to get the supplies to make their own Christmas dinner at home and Christmas cookies for dessert. THANK YOU to Haylee Caldwell & Family in Hensall who opened their front yard for Halloween. They collected 234 pounds of food donations as well as over $200.00! Thanks to everyone who participated as we work together to make hunger non-existent in our communities!

We are grateful to @aplaceforfood and The Sprott Foundation for their generous support of the #GoodFoodAccessFund. Because of you, we have been purchasing nutritious foods for the adults, children, seniors and families who are struggling with food insecurity in our communities. Grant funds were in the form of Sobey's gift cards which we are using at the Exeter Foodland store.
