Time for a quick contest again! Spookiest Story Contest! At this time of year, everyone loves a little scare so Huronia Museum wants to invite you to scare us with your spookiest story this Halloween. So sharpen your pencil, or dust off your keyboard and let your imagination run wild. We want you to send a shiver down our spines. Since Halloween is on a Saturday, you have until November 1 to send us your entries. They can be submitted in written form, or if you prefer ...you can send us a video of you reading your story. Whichever you are more comfortable with. There are only two rules your stories must follow: 1. Every story must be original! 2. Stories must be no more than 3 minutes in length (if it is a video) or no more than 600 words (if it is in writing) BONUS POINTS FOR INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING: One of the locations of the museum’s Museum Town project. So our contest has come to an end and we thoroughly enjoyed all the entries that came in from the community. We have so many crayon artists! Who knew? As we sort out the prize basket and get ready to annouce our winner we thought we would share a special challenge we sent out to the staff over at the Penetanguishene Centennial Museum & Archives who also drew a couple of Group of Seven.
