Thank you so much for your patience, Huron Parkers. We are happy to announce that we will be reopening on Monday, June 8. We’re making changes to how we operate and we want to make sure we make all the necessary changes before we open our doors to the public. This is to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. Here are a few things we are changing around the office: 1. We’ve introduced HEPA-filter air purification system in all the operatories. 2. We’ve added plexiglass ...to the reception desk. 3. We’re allowing only one patient in at a time with buffer time in between. This means patients will need to come ALONE unless they require assistance or if the appointment is for a child. If this is the case, only one caregiver is allowed to accompany the patient. 4. All patients will be screened over the phone when booking an appointment and again when they come in for their appointments. 5. NO WALK INS will be allowed. Anyone entering the office must have an appointment. This is to ensure the number of people inside the office is kept minimal. 6. If you arrive early for your appointment, we kindly ask that you wait outside the office until your appointment time. 7. Upon entering the office, hand hygiene will be mandatory at the hand sanitizer station. 8. Anyone entering the office will be REQUIRED to wear a mask at all times unless instructed to remove for dental treatment. If you do not have one, let us know and we will provide one for $2. We understand these changes are rather strict but it’s crucial to keep everyone safe during these unprecedented times. We want to make sure we’re doing everything we can to minimize the risk to everyone we care for. Just remember our smiling faces when you see us with masks on. Even though you can’t see, we will be welcoming you with smiles every time you walk in through those doors.

Good afternoon Huron Parkers! The dental and optometry colleges have approved opening offices albeit with some new protocols and guidelines. We have always prided ourselves in maintaining and surpassing the highest level of cleanliness and sterilization but new COVID protocols mean new measures need to be in place to protect both our patients and our staff. Once all the additional supplies that have been ordered to combat COVID-19 spread arrive, we will be opening our doors o...nce again. We anticipate that we will be announcing our reopening within the near future. We greatly appreciate your loyalty and your patience and hope to see you all very soon! Don’t forget to keep your hands AND your glasses clean! Your glasses come into contact with your face on a regular basis. And there’s nothing like seeing c...learly through freshly cleaned lenses! Use soap and water, and wipe lenses gently, preferably with a microfiber cloth, to avoid scratching. Avoid alcohol based products as they can ruin the acetate on your glasses.
