So very excited to announce the outcome of March Conference. We are so very thankful to the committee that organized this year's conference, they did an amazing job. We would like to congratulate North Simcoe Junior Farmers for winning Club of the Year. Congratulations to both Jolande Oudshoorn and Lauren Jolene Bos for winning Current Member Rose Award together, the first time two people have won this award in JF history! They both have done an amazing job and we are so prou...d of them. We are also very proud to announce that we won Agriculture Club of the Year for our work with the Who Let the Hogs Out and our Farm Safety Facebook campaigns. We were also honoured in receiving Communication Awards. They include Best New Member Recruitment Activity, Best Community Betterment Club Photo, Best Century Farm Sign Photo, Best Fundraising Idea, and News Article Competition. A big shout out to all the newspapers that have published our articles including the Blyth Citizen, Post Media, Midwestern Newspapers, and others. Thank you to the Treble's for allowing us to use their farm gate sign and a big thank-you to everyone who volunteered and participated with our Who Let the Hogs Out fundraiser. This past year has been different but we are so happy we were able to make the best of it! See more

Thank you to everyone that participated, donated, and shared our Who Let The Hogs Out fundraiser! We weren't sure how well this fundraiser would be received but we are happy with the results! If you haven't heard, we donated two butchered pigs and $1,005.44 to the Huron and Perth Food Banks. We would like to thank Huron County Pork Producers, Perth County Pork Producers, CedarVilla Angus Farms - Natural Custom Meats, and Zehr's Country Market.
