Can’t fake this kind of electricity

I will never get sick of photographing these two! Just your friendly neighbourhood wedding photographer dropping in with a new image that has kept me feeling inspired lately It feels reeeeally good to be out shooting (fairly) regularly again. Weddings might be a little scaled back and a bit more intimate, but that has in no way subtracted from how incredible they’ve been (in fact, it may even have enhanced it). Even though I’ve got a small backlog of editing to get to, I am... kind of craving an experimental, very non-traditional (well, at least by Hush Hush standards) couple’s shoot to try out a whole bunch of new techniques and do something completely different creatively. It would be a really selfish shoot where I’m not aiming to give you guys a certain product outside of the photos I want to make, so your expectations would have to be in line with that (which is to say, it’s not a typical fun + energetic engagement session; much more moody and passionate and dramatic). I haven’t committed to doing this yet, but if you’re a couple who might be down for something like that (for very little charge or possibly none at all), feel free to drop a comment tagging your significant other so I know who might be interested And please don’t be offended if I never follow up with you personally. Admittedly, things have been a little quiet on my Instafeed lately but it’s not due to a lack of incredible shoots I’ve been a part of (because there have been PLENTY of those) but solely because I’ve been so busy editing and shooting that I haven’t paused to schedule a bunch of new Instagram content yet I’ll get there soon enough because I am already busting at the seams with a ton of new work to share and, not to toot my own horn, but I think it’s some of the best work I’ve created yet. 2020 has been a bit of a gong show so far but the future is looking bright! The photo of these two lovers is proof of that So much more to come!
