Beautiful sunset !

I guess this little one declared war to getting soaked. Its only a few days old and has a mind of its own.

My beautiful Redfoot girl Calli had many beautiful babies over the last years, but none inherited her beautiful yellow dots until this baby came along. The look of a hatchling changes even within the first few weeks of its life and so I decided to capture its transformation. This cutie may be a keeper.

This little guy took action to get out of the water. "Enough of the stupid soaking."

First day of yard work ! I was able to rake out the the old grass in parts of the tortoise encloser and saw a glimpse of green already.

Luna and Cherry were my first Cherryhead tortoises, bought in March 2013 as 50 gram hatchlings. I am very proud that I managed to raise them to very beautiful, smooth, 3.5 kg tortoises.

Most people who see my Hermanns babies, are surprised how " tiny" they are. Although they are not as tiny as they were when they hatched. Here to show you the difference of a freshly hatched baby and a 2 month old baby, who is raised with lots of love and ready to go to their new home. The new owner gets a strong, independent and well eating little tortoise.
