Xbox one S, no power repair. Method: Test HD, power supply and 12V rail. HD good, power supply good and 12V rail = bad.... Inspected board. Located faulty chip. Removed chip. Found damaged tracers and pads after cleaning. Removed and prepared replacement chip from donor board. Installed replacement chip to motherboard. Installed tracer jumper lines. Tested => Still short to ground. Located and replaced faulty mosfet chip. Tested => no more short to ground. Powers on and fixed. See more
