That's the thing with Rockies skiing (ironic wink;) One day you are enjoying awesome views, cardio, and powder with a friend. The very next you are trying not to get eaten by the crud and old tracks and vaporized like in an 80s video game, climbing up what seems more like a moderate mountaineering outing than a ski run, surrounded by rock spires with unused splitter cracks.... Not to worry, the road construction workers are at their usual pace ensuring no access to the ranges east of #eastrevy for a few years. #yyyyyyyycski?

This Thursday at 1pm. #Repo @rab.equipment (@get_repo Following our first webinar to celebrate Rab and @lowe.alpine becoming a certified climate neutral company, we are delighted to announce our second webinar in this series: Climate Science and Mountaineering how we can look to our future with hope by climate scientist, film producer and mixed climber Ryan Vachon (US) on March 18th at 7pm GMT.... Ryan earned his Ph.D. in climate science and geochemistry in 2006. For 15 years, Ryan travelled Greenland, Alaska, the Andes and the Himalaya researching changing climate while realising his ambitious projects as a climber and alpinist. In the 2000’s, Ryan directed his professional goals to include raising the awareness of humanity's connection and interaction with natural systems. The climate is changing around the planet, and it is the mountains and polar regions that are changing the most. In this webinar, Ryan will share his experiences and lessons learned from his journey as a climate scientist, film producer and mixed climber. Join in and find out how the frozen world is reshaping itself, where humans fit into the equation and how each of us can look to our future with hope. Please note that due to the interactive character of this online lecture, participation is limited so please head over to our Facebook events page to book your spot, we've put a link in our bio #RabEquipment #TheMountainPeople #Glaciers #Alpinism #ClimateChange #CSR

I love experiencing new things. The number of times I have driven past this spot just off the TransCanada highway and never realized the amount of bird life teeming in the wetlands. And I have known @paulmcsorley for such a long time now too, and heard about the legendary @klemenmali for almost as long. So great to get out of my bubble and experience a whole new aspect to Chilliwack BC. Great hanging out on the cliffs and in the reeds.

Danny and Dexter didn't seem to believe me entirely that two screw anchors are strong, but seemed to have fun and learn lots none the less. @rockaboo_mountain_adventures @rab.equipment @lowe.alpine
