Knowledge forbidden? Suspicious, reasonless. Why should their Lord envy them that? Can it be a sin to know? Can it be death? - Milton, Paradise Lost #wip #postdigitalart #satan #paradiselost #covid19 #digitalart #illustration #plague #fakenews #posttruth

The best thing about vector graphics is they are razor sharp no matter how big you enlarge them. This is an A2 print but they can be scaled up to billboard size - and beyond - without any loss of resolution. Also vectors make it easy to play around with arrangements, colour palettes, etc. Thanks so much to @archaeologistsp for buying me Adobe Illustrator years ago ...without you I’d probably still be using Superpaint!! (That being said I did love Superpaint back in middle school...see the next frames for some of my early pieces ...needless to say I was into cars! ) This project, including my @epsonuk SureColor printer was funded by @aceagrams #gicleeprint #digitalart #vector #pixelart #superpaint #vaporwave #goodolddays #childhoodart

Video showing the development of the last couple of pieces. Many of my artworks blend into one another thematically & in terms of iconography. In this case i created an arched doorway at the end of one artwork which reminded me of the Simpson’s house...so for the next piece I took it further and added some of the cartoon’s iconic furniture. Often chance plays a big (positive) part in the progress of a piece, as it gives me unexpected ideas & sends my work in an unanticipated direction... My ‘Metamorphoses’ project is funded by the @aceagrams Emergency Relief Fund #wip #perseus #medusa #animation #digitalart #popsurrealism #newcontemporaryart

Furniture glyphs... After sketching individual icons in my lined notebook, I translate them to vector graphics & arrange them into different artworks. These particular glyphs are based on Simpsons house furnishings. They will soon be added to my ever-growing flash sheet of digital hieroglyphs, for use in future pieces. (PS no idea why I didn’t draw the telephone!) These designs are part of my ongoing ‘Metamorphoses’ project funded by @aceagrams ... #hieroglyphics #glyphs #simpsons #furniture #vectorart #wip #process
