Our day in Yoho National Park was something out of a storybook. Snow gently fell across the Canadian Rockies without creating so much as a ripple in the lake. My friends and I sat by the water's edge and spent the afternoon trying to capture every detail of this special moment. In photography I've learned that although brilliant sunsets and sunrises can make for great photos, they aren't always necessary. Sometimes all you need is a little creativity and the company of some great friends.

#Kathmandu is a city like no other. Each nameless street is part of an intricate maze that somehow makes sense to everyone who calls this ancient city home. Every side street was an adventure unto itself. Would we find a spice market? A temple? It was always impossible to tell. Rather than creating a feeling of being lost, we were filled with this sense of exploration. For anyone travelling to Nepal Pokhara is a must. The gateway to the Annapurnas, Pokhara is a great spot to escape the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu and prep yourself for the trek ahead. The most idyllic meal I've ever had was a simple bowl of Tikka Masala while sitting on the shores of Phewa Tal in Pokhara. Annapurna Conservation Area, Nepal Chulu West is one of the most striking peaks in the Annapurna Range and there is no better place to see it than on your way up to Thorong High Camp. I'll never forget the first time I visited Bow Lake. It was New Years Day and my now Fiancée and I went up the Icefield Parkway to try out snowshoeing. If you have never been snowshoeing before, Bow Lake is the place to try it. The seemingly endless frozen lake offers the perfect opportunity to get used to the equipment.
