Advocate, Christina and Member, Bryce preparing for their Tribunal hearing. All hearings are done virtually now. This boardroom has been the office's makeshift courtroom for over 7 months. We've had some great decisions come out of here.

It's official! Congrats to Megan Dykeman, and BC Building Trades president Andrew Mercier on their Langley sweep for the BC NDP. These two bring the BC NDP seat count to 57, and the election of Megan Dykeman means 29 (over half!) the BC NDP caucus are women. https://www.aldergrovestar.com//final-vote-results-confir/

Thanks to all those members that stepped up and participated with the Lights of Hope volunteering yesterday & today! Special thanks to Emelia Colman-Shepherd for rallying folks and gettin er done! We couldn't do it without everyone's support. This was a very different year for this event, with smaller groups called out on assigned days to do specific pieces of the setup and we drew weekdays this time. More of that adjusting to the pandemic stuff! We will let you know when we get our dates for tear down and hope to see some of you there!
