Six more days before the first ever IBSA, Zoom AGM! We have had a great response and have volunteers for the job of Secretary, Treasurer. We have someone that is willing to do either the president or Vice president position, but defiantly needs help. If you are interested please email [email protected]. We also have two volunteers for the equipment manger and a few people have stepped up to be coaches! The agenda for this years AGM is Voting in the new board of volunteers... The financial budget By-laws Please make sure if you are interesting in volunteering to email [email protected] and we will send you an invite to this years Zoom AGM on Monday March 15th at 7pm.

Hello Soccer Parents!! We will have a soccer season this year, although it may look a little different. We need to get the kids on the field! First things first though we need volunteers if this is to go forward. We have two people that have volunteered and will take one of two positions. Please see below and know that Carli and Stephanie can not do it all. :) Positions that must be filled are: ... President Vice President Stephanie Edgington (Will do President if someone wants Vice Pres) Secretary Treasurer Carli Green (Will do Secretary if someone wants Treasurer) Non Board volunteers needed Ref coordinator - Equipment manager - Adam Derdall and Chad Eagleson Fundraising coordinator - COACHES! We are having a ZOOM AGM meeting March 15th at 7pm. Please email [email protected] and we will send you a invitation link to the meeting. So far the Government rules for outdoor sports is 10 people max that makes 8 children and two adults. We are not allowed to play games at all, only allowed to do drills. If restrictions lift we will have to be flexible and change with the terms the government puts out.

We now know that COVID 19 is going to keep us under lock-down longer than we thought originally. We also know that any kind of normal soccer season is not going to happen. However we are thinking of some options! Obviously dependent on how this pandemic plays out we would like to try and possibility get the kids out on the field to play when allowed. This could mean anything from extremely shortened season, (possible summer time play), to just a weekend tournament, or just opening up the shack and having pick up games once a week. Whatever will be done will be decided based on the regulations the Government sets out, and registrations. So please send in your registration form (No money) to [email protected], that way we will be ready to play when and if we can.

Signs are up! Dont forget the AGM is also March 28th at 4pm in the Irricana Lions Hall. We need volunteers, for the board and coaches. If you can spare a few hours a week please come to the AGM or email, [email protected].

If you are interested in your kids soccer and thought of volunteering but not sure whats involved I have outlined the board and their roles on the website www.ibsasoccer.ca. check it out and come to our AGM on March 28th and get voted in.

Spent an hour and a half up at the shack today! Not complete but on it's way to being clean and organized :)
