Robyn's paper is quickly followed by the release of Chris Boyd's description of Beaconites capronus from the Carboniferous of Northumberland in the UK. https://www.researchgate.net//313110300_Three-dimensional_ There is some taxonomic discussion of Beaconites for those of you that still have the stomach for the whole Beaconites Taenidium etc.. debate. I won't give away the ending ;-)... Congratulations Chris, looking forward to seeing your paper on the type material of what has been called Eione and Parataenidum very soon!

An exciting new paper out today from Robyn Reynolds (formerly of MUN and now at Shell) on a Parahaentzschelinia-like trace fossil in 3D. https://www.researchgate.net//311981673_Three-dimensional_ it asks some interesting questions of the way we go about our ichnotaxonomy and analysis of ichnodiversity.
