Please share friends and family’s !! Kids-Fest Ancaster fair grounds 10-5 Saturday Sunday & Monday. Looking for new players 4-6 who want to learn how to skate properly.

Well she couldn't do a shift and we had to walk around in her skate guards to the bench, but she was over there with her coaches and teammates encouraging her but it wasnt her time yet. First game shes been on the bench and on the roster, since before our icing anxiety event. She wasnt too happy when I fooled her and told her her skate guards were lose when I finally conversed her that last 3 feet to the bench, but she at least had to skate back to the dressing room. Haha.

Icing Anxiety 17.10.2020

Good day everyone. So we tentatively have the ice and community room booked on Saturday February 22nd from 4-7. 4-5 for the ice time, and then a potluck and discussion in the community room for two hours afterwards. It's actually been tentatively booked for some time. I have been trying to work with the city for many weeks, to hopefully register ourselves as a recognized community partner, or have applied for partial fee waivers to make this more sustainable but that process... is very slow with an answer now confirmed no earlier than February 18th, time is ticking but I would still love to run another session. It is tough having to pay this out of pocket first with re-reimbursement later, although we did break even last time. So, I would like to make sure we have player and volunteer interest this second go around, and ideally players/donors willing to pay upfront to reduce the financing burden on the Icing Anxiety volunteers. This is something we want to continue to run and will seek partners, but we are not there yet. The cost all in with insurance, is $350 for the 3 hours. We had a great turn out last time and a lot of fun, and we're hoping to expand it this time with the community room rental and some conversation, cheer, and a little mini-sticks for the kids. Looking forward to hearing from you. Regards, The INSE (Icing Anxiety) Team
