Class will be held every Mon & Tue 11am-12pm at the Islamic Centre of Oshawa covering the famous Madinah Arabic series (developed and taught in Madinah university). Introducing Al-Asaas, The Foundation, Level 1 of the ICO Aalimiyyah Program! As the Ahaadith above state, Knowledge is a journey, which requires 2 things, among others. 1. A heart cultivated to accept the knowledge, and 2. Treading the sacred path. Scholars of our rich history have put together a curriculum for an in depth understanding of the Deen and its sciences, commonly known as the Alimiyyah program. The Aalimiyyah program is an in depth study of the Qur'aan, Sunnah and... all the sciences/subjects which make up the Deen such as Tafsir, Hadith, Fiqh and the principles of Tafsir, Hadith and Fiqh. It also includes an advanced study of classical Arabic and courses on history, leadership, politics, and philosophy. Level 1 is structured to introduce and prepare the student in regards to this blessed tradition in a manner that the student has made his heart and mind fertile for sowing the seeds of the sacred knowledge. Tailored specifically for a young Canadian Muslim, this level consists of hand selected texts in English and Arabic to allow the student to develop confidence in the understanding and practice of the Deen.
