I Count High School 02.05.2021

Our hearts go out today to Eric Wilsons family and friends as he is laid to rest. Eric was a student with ICOUNT in our early years. He was a very kind and caring young man with a lot of talent. He had a charisma he could switch on and bring a fresh new perspective to any conversation. At first glance you would think Eric was not very approachable as a person, but if you did sit and talk with him he would open right up and have funny stories and win your heart. He was the ...perfect example of never judging a book by its cover. We watched him flourish as he picked up his grades and made many new friends in our small community. He loved to play guitar and humour others with funny movie quotes. At one point he took our school on a field trip to Rayco guitars in Smithers where he worked and had even built his own acoustic guitar from scratch. Again, the staff and students of ICOUNT send condolences and prayers to Eric Wilsons family and friends. See more

We are saddened to hear of the sudden passing of a past Icount student. Victoria was a part of the first group of students at Icount. Like any student who comes through our doors, Victoria helped to shape the Icount program and how it is delivered. She completed two years of schooling with the Icount program. She was a kind and intelligent young lady who would brighten a room with her smile and laughter. We offer our heart felt condolences and prayers to Victorias family and friends.

Colorado Joseph has been a student at ICOUNT since 2014 and has been consistently coming to school for the passed 6 years. Over this time he has been practicing and developing his guitar skills. He has had the support and guidance from Dale Cutler, Matt Anderson, Travis Hebert, and Ben Brooks. Now, as a recent graduate we thought it would be a good idea to showcase some of his development as a musician. The concept behind the COVID SESSIONS is to show that, despite the isolation and challenging times, we can access music, art, or any creative outlet. Its important for us to put our love and energy into something that keeps us motivated and inspired. Enjoy! Feel free to watch or share the video!
