There was a planned pilgrimage to the Holy Land last October - which was delayed due to the virus. Delayed, but not cancelled. New plans are now in place for an opportunity to visit the sites of Jesus' life, teaching, and death - as well as the sites of importance to those close to Him. From October 13th-21st 2021, travel with a number of Islanders for this incredible pilgrimage.

A new movie on the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima was released this past week. Due to the Covid situation, it has also been released as a digital rental while it is still in theatres. https://www.fatimathemovie.com/ A good opportunity to watch a faithful movie at home, and the rental is also a good way to support such important efforts.

All praise to the Living God, praise be Jesus Christ, who lives for ever! One of our seminarians, Walter Flynn, has received his call to Holy Orders and will be raised to the Order of Deacon on August 14th. This is a joyful announcement for our diocese to celebrate - that this man will take this step of service to Holy Mother Church and moves towards the Priesthood of Jesus Christ: http://dioceseofcharlottetown.com/a-joyous-announcement-fr/ Since the ordination rite will take place outside of our diocese, and with the travel restrictions in place, we will not be able to be physically present for the ordination - but we will unite ourselves spiritually to this beautiful moment with an hour of Eucharistic Adoration on the day and time of his ordination (August 14th, 5:00PM Atlantic Time).

The public health office is limiting our church gatherings to 50 people, beginning June 26th - with the understanding that social distancing can be maintained with that number of peop...Continue reading
