AUTO WRECKER LOOKING FOR FULL TIME DISMANTLER (CHILLIWACK) LOOKING FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE.....Ideal Auto Wrecking in Chilliwack is looking for an experienced full-time dismantler. We do not require a licensed automotive technician but if you have such qualifications please feel free to apply as long as you are willing to work for the wage we can pay. Job hours are 8:30-5:00 Monday to Friday so the weekends and holidays are yours....we really do need someone who will commit t...o working A FULL 40 HOUR WORK WEEK. Successful applicant must have reliable transportation to get to and from work and their own hand tools for AUTOMOTIVE applications, and experience either in a mechanical shop or a wrecking yard....many of the specialty tools and equipment that may be needed are supplied. You must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions (it is an outdoor job and this is the Fraser Valley-6 months of the year it is WET) and have your own outerwear for the weather of the day and steel toe boots. Job involves dismantling cars and trucks for parts sales as well as cleaning and wrapping of parts when needed. We need someone who understands that the product they are working on needs to be re-installed by the end user down the road and proper methods for removal, testing, cleaning and wrapping (if needed) must by utilized. You should be in relatively good health and be able to lift 75 or so pounds on occasion without help...forklifts are used for any serious lifting. Must play well with others (our workplace is no place for personal conflict). Medical and dental plan available after 3 months. Wages will be based on any prior experience and references ($20/hr and up). Top pay for good experienced person and will train general policies and procedures BUT hands on automotive knowledge is a must. Benefits are available after 3 months and we do have a few other perks of employment. This is a permanent full-time job being offered, no part-time workers please.....we are a busy shop and cannot babysit or hold hands for 2 months until you can stand on you own.
