11 years ago today I married the boy I fell In love with in high school. The boy who faked needing an English tutor to hang out with me and stole kisses when I didn't expect it. The boy who grew into an amazing husband and incredibly loving father. Happy Anniversary to my best friend and the best partner I could ask for in life. I love you babe.

A little gem from this past weekend. Colton thought it would be hilarious to leave his transportation mode walking blind. I should have rescued dad... but I grabbed the phone instead I am afraid for my little daredevil's future sense of humour.

My future Ferris Bueller. This little man has so much charisma and personality in his tiny form. In the past year, he's gone from barely talking to master negotiator. He comes up with words and phrases out of nowhere and can break us with his absurdly adorable line of reasoning. Case in point, these sunglasses. He's worn them pretty much everywhere for 3 days, including to school this morning as it rained. Somehow I got talked into why he *needed* them for daycare. We're in big trouble when it comes to car keys down the road

This room is definitely mom's sanctuary, but every now and then I let her in to explore. She loves looking at various books off the shelf and asks me all sorts of questions about them. Like her mama, she's partial to the ones with pretty cover designs. I could watch her adoring books all day. This is what #raisingreaders is all about.

A #throwbackthursday to one of my all time favourite photos of our family. Every year we do a farewell photo to dad's #movember 'stache. This one from 2014 has been the best so far. Lilly's stick on looks disturbingly legit and the face she's making to go with it is perfect. I hope we remember to snap a #wiltshiremovemberphoto every year!

We were so lucky to get in a great visit with Papa while he was in the province. Can't wait for our family road trip out east to see him and the rest of our family this summer
