A question people often ask when they come for their first appointment is what happens when you stop won’t you just gain all your weight back. My answer to that is the best part of the Ideal Protein protocol. It’s not just about the weight loss piece, it’s Phase 2 (Stabilization) and Phase 3 (Maintenance). The continual support, teaching, resources etc that come throughout all of it, if you go through the stages are what makes it possible to not just gain your weight back. Th...e pictures below are of me, I went through this program too, all 3 phases. I lost 80lbs and have successfully kept it off, for 2 years. Ideal Protein’s motto is Food is Medicine, Weightloss is Healthcare and having been through this program myself I 100% believe! If you invest in yourself now, take care of yourself now you will be a healthier version of yourself. For me, moving through the program, loosing 80lbs, meant I can move easier, I can breathe easier, I no longer take any medications for digestive issues, more energy, less headaches, sleep better etc etc. The program changed my life. The Ideal Protein protocol has many forms of support with it, including in person private appointments with your coach, an electronic app, videos, resources and journaling. Each of those opportunities provide accountability, which is an important part of weight loss. All of these tools are meant to support and encourage and in no way pass judgment. I’ve been through the program myself, as have all our Coaches but the key thing is accountability!!
Another bit of reminding/inspiration for everyone... Times of traditions and holiday gathering often revolve so much around food, often not Ideal Protein friendly food too. No matter how you fared this past weekend remember why you started. Dig in and move through those triggers that so often hold us back. Reach out for support, you can do it!
