Meet the new loves of my life... Nordic winter gnomes 1. Dacey means 'adored' 2. Taft = 'house sitter' 3. Macario = 'to be blessed'... A Tomte / "Nisse" / "Tonttu" (or Gnome) is a small elf like creature that likes to take up residence near or under houses. He takes care of a farmer’s home and children, and protects them from misfortune, especially at night when the house folks are asleep. The Gnome has an enormous capacity for work, but will not tolerate anyone’s interference. He requires very little of the humans he works for, but it is important to treat him right or he might leave. Just remember your word & colour at a party Hard to photograph but ever-so-lovely flower vases. Cookie jar - "Handwritten Font" transfer & "Brush Script Font" transfer, Couture ink in "Bark" and "Midnight Sky"...
