After 4 months working in Saskatchewan, I finally get to head back home to Alberta. It’s December 7th and there’s not a lick of snow on the ground, which meant I was able to work out here in Moosomin much later than originally planned. It’s no accident that with the weather getting colder this weekend, I’ll be westbound. When you have vital organs as close to the ground as I do, snow and ice isn’t pleasant. #ifican

I did another presentation from the tractor today... even managed to keep my eyes open for it. Thank you to 4-H Canada in Shawville Quebec for inviting me to chat with the kids. #ifican

It was an absolute honour and pleasure to be a part of the Government of Canada’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities. I couldn’t do an online presentation like I did today without showing love for The War Amps Child Amputee (CHAMP) Program. Very proud to be a CHAMP and a Canadian. #ifican

When I was doing the Marine Corps Marathon a few years ago, I was on a downhill section of the course on my longboard. One of the runners asked me how much I’d charge for a ride on my board. I told him it’d cost an arm and a leg. There was a brief awkward pause before the whole group of runners burst out laughing. If you can’t laugh at life, what can you laugh at? Remi got her ride on the longboard for free because she’s cute and didn’t have any money. #ifican

I have partnered up with the Ontario Disability Employment Network (ODEN) and Ontario Federation of Agriculture to encourage people with disabilities to consider agriculture as a potential career option as well as for farmers and producers to look at bringing said individuals into the ag sector.
