Friday was Plaids for Dad’s Day and once again team IGA Madeira Park was looking good.

Recently each staff member at IGA Madeira Park were presented with paints, paint brushes and a blank canvas. Staff were challenged to clear their minds and have a bit of fun and paint a picture...anything they wanted to paint. Well I have to tell you Madeira Park IGA has talent. We will post paintings for all to see and you might even see them hanging up in the store one day.

Just another step we are taking to keep our community safer. Early in the morning before we open the crew shows up and sprays the buggies and shopping baskets with a disinfectant cleaner the same as they use in hospitals to try and reduce the spread of Covid-19. A safer community is a stronger community.

The Cookies have arrived !!! Only $5.00 Let’s help out our local Girl Guides. Since they are not able to go door to door and sell their famous cookies this year , IGA and the Girl Guides have teamed up so that you will be able to purchase the cookies from our store and help them out with their number 1 fund raising campaign. 100% of all sales go directly back the the Girl Guides

Sending a huge 6ft away Social Distancing hug to Christine and Dorthy and everyone who helped out. The ladies dropped off handmade face masks for the entire IGA staff.

To all of our Loyal Customers. We just wanted to remind everyone that do to Social Distancing our Customer Appreciation Day has been canceled to ensure our customers safety and well being. We look forward to returning to this great program at a later date. Thank you for understanding and your continued support through these times.

Amazing sight to see on the windows at our store today. Without anyone noticing 2 signs were placed on the windows. This put a smile on everyone’s face. The IGA staff also wanted to pass along a BIG THANK-YOU to the anonymous community member for their generous gesture. You two know who you are and what you did. Thank you.

Please help our community to STAY SAFE ! There have been several reports of people from our community and visitors still not following the Canadian Government mandatory self isolation LAW when returning from a recent trip. Please DO NOT ENTER our store. We are the life line of this community and need to have all of our staff safe and healthy along with our community or we could be in trouble trying to serve you. Please report anyone you may think is breaking this LAW !

Pender Harbour / Madeira Park and surrounding areas. We would like to remind our customers not to bring in their reusable bags at this time. We will have both plastic and paper bags available at no charge for you. Thank you for understanding.

( Subject to Change ) Daily 8:30am - 6:00pm Wednesday and Friday mornings we will still be holding our Seniors Shopping Hour ... 7:30am - 8:30am Thank you for your understanding and support.
