These 2 pictures highlight a very profound moment, today, for our very own Zoë Armstrong. At 9:00am this morning, Zoë defended her PhD thesis (which focused on using art therapy to provide voice to All Genders folks and create social change). After 5 years of school and research, 2.5hrs of presentation and defense this morning, and an 11 minute decision period ..... we now congratulate DR. Zoë Armstrong ... Your sheer determination, your grit, your persistence, your tenacity, your innovation, your creativity. These were all things that were spoken to in a mini gathering tonight, to celebrate you. Normally, it feels like we should say, 'now get out there and change the world', but we're pretty sure you've been doing that for awhile now We congratulate you Zoë, from the bottom of our hearts
