Sometimes sh*t just happens. A week ago today a large wind storm passed through our project in Peterborough. In a matter of minutes all of our hard work was turned up side down.. literally, with some of the turf. This was very hard to digest and I believe a small part of me died. Yes, what I do is create recreational spaces and even though this was no one’s home and no one was hurt (thankfully!), there has been a lot lot of energy and passion injected into this project. However, with contrast comes clarity and the sun will still rise tomorrow. The entire golf green needs to be replaced. We will shut things down and return in the spring. Respect to all those who deal with the wrath of Mother Nature.
