This was one of the many parts of the home that we helped renovate with these home owners... Between two bathrooms, a master bedroom, doors and painting amongst other things, we've certainly changed the flow throughout the house. ... Here's the master bedroom portion of the renovation where we opened up the space by removing a closet with a triple level laundry shoot to the basement, puzzled in some missing hardwood, freshened up the paint throughout, along with a few electrical additions and an electric fireplace surround to boot. Simple yet elegant. Here's a quick little project we did a few weeks back where we installed some vinyl window decals on a variety of windows on a main floor. Due to a tight budget shutters, blinds and/or window dressings weren't an option so, this is what we came up with as the next quick/budget friendly option. We took the same approach as if you were simply installing a phone screen protector... best of all it came out as smooth as butter and the cuts were on point! - The Daily - _______________ "GREASE FRIGHTENING" ... Here's a little advice for all of you home owners & tenants out there that do a lot of home cooking. Kitchen sinks come with strainers. They are there for a reason and should be used appropriately. If you catch yourself washing the dishes in the sink and tossing a bunch of solids down the drain such as food and/or debris then, you're setting yourself up for a disaster waiting to happen. Make sure to insert your strainers, remove them once your finished and, dump them in your compost bin and/or garbage. Lastly and more importantly to remember is to NEVER dispose of oils and grease down the drains. If you do, this is what happends! This is a prime example of an issue one of our customers called us for in which they were having major drainage issues and backups at their kitchen sink. After a lengthy investigation and assessment, it was determined that the 4" drainage leading to the basement was completely full of waste water. Along with that from the clean out to roughly 6' into the basement floor, the pipe was packed solid with grease amongst other unidentifiable gunk. If you can't imagine the smell, let me tell you it's NOT pretty. The floor had to be broken up, pipe removed, lines flushed and then put all back together. A costly job that's easily preventable. - DRYWALLING - Quite often we find ourselves being contacted to do certain jobs that require a lot of attention to detail. Here's a fair sized drywall job that we were hired to do for a client of ours out in Guelph. In all honesty, it's been a while since we've done any backsplash installations. After we designed & constructed a basement bathroom for these clients, they asked us back to help with some additional work such as painting, installing some doors and, install some new backsplash tile at the kitchen. Of coarse as you can see, these tiles aren't rectangular or square, they're glass hexagons laid out on 12"x12" sheets. You can imagine that the installation was a little more tediou...s than normal... *a little "FYI", these tiles come in at $30.00/sqf! Since we've been given the green light to begin operating again, we have literally been non-stop! Between catching up with our past clients before the shutdown and, the new customers we acquired over the break... we've been doing our best to try and keep everybody happy while we've recently stepped it up by trying new things. Taking a look back at one our bathrooms we completed back in 2019' where we turned an awkwardly designed space, into a fully functional, spa-like retreat. We made use of the space by removing the elongated counter-top and added in a custom 44" x 8' stand in shower with a "his and hers" side. We incorporate a nice solid bench capped with some caesar stone along with matching stone around the niches, doorway & window. The clients insisted on river rock for the shower floor to ...help give it an "outdoorsy" feel. Another bathroom down and another client happy! At the end of the day, this bathroom has one splash of fun!

Accidents happen. It's a part of everyday life. Here, a truck yard out in Milton, ON. had contacted us to help them out with some urgent repairs. This was a simple result of the section of fencing being backed into by a tractor trailer in which we needed to come in, dismantle the aluminum barrier and replace the post. Having dug 4' down past the frost line with some base gravel, sono tube forms and a 6"x6" PT posts, this should do the trick.
