I’m trying to post it as public so I’m not quite sure why it’s doing this. Hopefully this will work ! Hi everyone, You all may know me as Tammy Nguyen on here , My real name is Tram Nguyen. I am in Vietnam for vacation with my boyfriend (Nghiêm Võ) also known as Tom, for Lunar New Years , but we both are currently in Da Nang Hospital for treatment due to an incident that occurred on Saturday , February 9th/2019. Tom gave me permission to post this on his behalf. Bare with me while I am trying not to break down to write this all out while the story is still fresh in my mind. Excuse my grammar. Please help us share and repost this story to your friends, family and media outlets if possible. I want everyone to be aware that this can happen to anyone, including someone you love. . . . . On Saturday feb 9/2019 about 7:30pm , we (myself and my boyfriend Tom) were on our 1 motorbike on our way to have dinner when about 10mins later from Tom’s house, as we were making a right turn, the road was pitch dark with no street lights. Coincidentally I saw 1 motorbike on the right side with 2 men . 1 sitting on the bike the other 1 leaning against it . About 30-40 secs later, the same motorbike raced up beside us on the left and yelled something out we couldn’t hear properly and we both looked to our left and saw that they have spilled acidic water on us. Tom lost control of the motorbike and we both fell off. Tom crawled about 1 meter away from me and I saw the guy sitting at the back coming down hold a large knife coming towards me and in my head i thought to myself oh no it’s robbery so I held both my hands in the air , but he turned towards Tom’s direction, pushing Tom down and just went straight for his legs. With total a total of 3 cuts. 2 on his right leg, 1 on his left. As of today, Thursday feb.14.2019 @ 9:00am as I am writing this all out , Tom has 90% of his face burned, both his hands and both legs are also burned. He has a total of 3 cuts that has been stitched up. Not able to open his eye fully, only able to see 15%-20%. For myself, I have minor injuries, burns on both thighs, one hand and some on the left side of my face. Again I’m asking for everyone help. It may not be much but it is better than nothing. Still cannot believe this all happened. I’m still thinking it’s a nightmare and wanting it to all go away. Please pray for Tom. It’s not fair to go on vacation and to have something like this happened. I personally want whoever is behind this will be caught. Sincerely, Tammy Nguyen
