! Open bite edition! Jared came to us in 2015 with misaligned teeth and an open bite tendancy. Traditional braces were used to align his teeth and coordinate the arches, but he wasn't out of the woods quite yet... Open bites are tricky to navigate as there can be several contributing factors. Once Jared's braces were removed, Dr Trpkova continued to monitor his growth and gave him exercises to help reposition his tongue away from his teeth In 2018, Jared's growth had slowed and it was time to resume treatment, this time with Invisalign and Cl III elastics. Since his teeth were already in an excellent position, Dr T was able to focuse on closing the anterior bite.
