There have been a few races taking place live this fall and that keeps us feeling positive about 2021 having events in some way, shape or form! Fall is a great time to reflect on your goal...s and lay down a plan to give structure and purpose to your training. Your annual training plan should include a periodized plan that includes structured base, build and preparation phases. Here is what to expect if you are planning to do an Ironman/70.3 or marathon/half-marathon race (or two!) next year. Dr. Cindy Lewis-Caballero is the founder of CL Performance Training - the official coaching sponsor of the Subaru Ironman 70.3 Muskoka. She is an endurance coach, a Chiropractor, a personal trainer, a former professional triathlete, and a mom.
