We haven’t forgotten about you.... I feel like many of us have settled into our social distancing roles and are working from home or doing jigsaw puzzles and baking bread with quiet resolution. I’m so proud of our nation right now and the way that we have bonded together in truly Canadian style, putting our community ahead of our individual needs and placing value on each person, young or old, regardless of religion, social status or race. Yay Canada! We are making a differe...nce as we flatten the infamous curve and together we will show the world what the we are made of and what it truly means to be Canadian. In the mean time, OMG I will never complain again of being too busy or having too long a waiting list!!! We can’t wait to get back to work and think about all of you every day! We hope you are all hanging in there and we can’t wait to get caught up with everything in your lives when we are all reunited again! Although we don’t know when that will be, we are working ahead to ensure that when we get the green light, we will work efficiently and swiftly to ensure every one of your beautiful faces is a priority. Some of the things we have been doing to make that happen include streamlining the office space to be able to accommodate more patients in examining rooms so that we can move people through quickly but still keep social distancing in place which will likely still be important for a long time. We have been reorganizing office space to ensure efficiency. Literature will be provided by Email or on the website prior to appointments to minimize paper and one to one contact in the reception, and virtual consults will be provided for anyone seeking information only prior to booking treatments or for a quick follow up. In the beginning we will be prioritizing treatments which patients are anxious to resume and follow up with more maintenance based treatments when things get caught up. Likely we will only be treating the upper face and not injecting any fillers for the first two weeks. We will be working extended hours and offering two injectors at all times to deal with the back log. Increased office staff will be booking appointments the second we get the go ahead. We will be contacting everyone who has a booked appointment to reschedule as well as accommodating those of you who are due for treatments. Finally, we hope you will be pleased to see some freshening up and some new things to look at in the office, in addition to our very excited and happy faces, when you walk through our doors again. Until that time, please be patient with us. We miss you more than you miss us and we promise to continue to make your health, your beauty and each one of you that has come to be a part of our family, a priority as soon as we possibly can. Our team is elated to announce that the provincial government has granted regulated health care professionals permission to reopen non-essential services! We have been working behind the scenes to improve and upgrade our clinic and we cannot wait to share these changes with you, and see all of your smiling faces again. Although we are working hard to get the clinic up and running, it is our foremost responsibility to keep all of our patients and staff safe and healthy. That ... means that we will be putting some extra safety precautions into place to meet new standards and follow guidelines which will affect how our appointments run. We will be contacting you to reschedule cancelled appointments and will hopefully get you all caught up before long. Please be patient with us as we get the engines running and do a few trial runs in the upcoming weeks. In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic we have decided to close our clinic temporarily, effective Tuesday March 17.
