Get to know us! Meet Muktar. Based in Ethiopia’s capital of Addis Ababa, Muktar has helped enroll over 30,000 out-of-school children during his 6 years at @imagine1day! Recently promoted to National Child Protection and Education in Emergency program coordinator, Muktar has reunited over 750 unaccompanied and separated children with their families, has arranged provision of alternate care for over 300 children in crisis, coached over 550 mothers in parent skills education, assists with raising awareness around gender-based violence and has provided Psychological Social Support to 6,000 children and youth.
