Let's be clear. THIS is who I work with... You're probably someone that got a dog so that you could enjoy lots of time together. You want a partnership and a companion with a dog that loves you more than anything. ... But it's be a struggle. Having this pup has been a blessing and a curse. You're worried it's something you've done. OR You're worried there isn't anything you can do about it. His/her behaviour is not improving... to say the least. It's frustrating, and so embarrassing that you can't get him/her under control. If only there was a way. A technique. A method. Something less confrontational that could... Dare I say - you wish handling your dog was actually FUN?! You want your dog to WANT to work with you - instead of against. You want to be on the same page. You want to communicate instead of struggle. I'm here to tell you it is possible. In fact, it's more than possible, it's required for you to see the change in your dog that you want to see. And there's actually science behind making this possible. It's still possible to have a dog you're proud of. It's so important for me to be clear about who I work with because I work so closely with my clients that I want to make sure we're a good fit, so let's have a quick chat! https://imaginedogtraining.ca/contact-carina/ . . . . . #torontomoms #toronto #torontomom #etobicokemoms #torontokids #vaughanmoms #motherhood #momlife #thornhillmoms #canadianmom #momblogger #momboss #mompreneur #vaughanontario #torontolife #vaughan #kidsofinstagram #northyorkmom #bhfyp #torontodads #gtamoms #kidsbirthday #torontomommies #markhammoms #torontomomblogger #pickeringmoms #freeresource #motherhoodthroughig See more

My client thought that training was about discipline. That she had to be stern. That she had to "be the leader." Now she wasn't completely wrong, but her interpretation wasn't quite right. ... Sure - there's discipline involved - that's more about being consistent and providing structure than reprimands. Sure - you need to be the leader - that's more about being the provider rather than being the boss. You want a cooperative partnership with your pup. You don't want to be his/her harsh or strict boss. I'm here to help you find that partnership where your dog WANTS to do what you ask. Where your dog voluntarily listens to your every word. Where your dog would rather hang out with you rather than dig up the yard or tear up the house. If I could show you how this kind of bond and partnership was possible, would you want to see Let me know in the comments or send me a PM. . . . . . #torontodogs #dogsoftoronto #torontodogtrainer #torontopuppy #doggos #torontobeaches #leslieville #yorkmills #leaside #lawrencepark #annex #junction #distillerydistrict #libertyvillage #churchandwellesley #harbourfront #cabbagetown #yorkville #streetsoftoronto #torontoinsta #dogs_of_instagram #doglife #dogsofig #imagesoftoronto #ig_toronto See more

Does this sound familiar? You got your pup in hopes of going on lots of family adventures together. Now, all you can do is wrap the leash around your hands when walking by a neighbour holding on to your pup for dear life. ... It's embarrassing. It's heartbreaking. It's not what you had hoped for with your dog. You're not alone. Many of my clients have been through similar experiences. They often come to me completely frustrated with their dog. It didn't turn out to be the well-rounded family companion they had expected. Fortunately, with a little bit of skilled training, things turn around SO fast. I was tired of seeing other people struggle with their dogs. I knew what kind of relationship was possible as a dog owner. I knew that if they simply knew a few little snippets about dog training, they also could experience what I have with my dog. There is so much confusion in dog training. ... So many voices. I've read and seen them all. I've even tried a few things that didn't work out. All of these trials and tribulations I've been through with my dog? Well, now they help me help you avoid those mistakes and get to the relationship and partnership you want SO much faster! There's something to be said for that beautiful experience when owner and dog are totally in-sync. There's a partnership. An understanding. A communication. That's totally possible for every dog owner - if only they allowed it. When I work with clients - not only do I see the light bulb go off in the dog's mind - but often, and perhaps more exciting, is when I see the light bulb go off in the owner's mind. They say... If it's been said once, it's been said a thousand times. It's true - I'm not the original discoverer or inventor of most of my training techniques. ... HOWEVER When you work with me - you get my years of research, reading, seminars, webinars, classes, and courses - all in a consolidated, quick and easy-to-apply way. My clients are often surprised by how compassionate I am with their struggles. Keep in mind, I've been in your shoes. And, honestly, NO dog trainer out there has perfect dogs. I'm NOT here to judge. I'm deeply compassionate. I'm there to find out what techniques will work and adjust them for your lifestyle and goals. Is your dog making your walks stressful? Are you avoiding walks with your dog even though you wish you could go out? Is your dog completely embarrassing you when others walk by with theirs? Here are 3 things you can do this week to make your walks more enjoyable:... 1 Use a short, non-extendable leash. Often, while flexi leashes give your dog more freedom to explore, they can complicate walks and walking manners. 2 Turn around! Don't hesitate to change directions or turn around if you see another dog coming your way. 3 Don't take it personally. Your dog is not barking his head off to annoy or embarrass you. There are many reasons dogs become reactive on leash... Maybe they've been attacked and now they're on the offensive. Maybe they are frustrated they can't go say hi at-will. Maybe they are scared and feel cornered on leash. Maybe they've never been taught what to do instead of bark. Whatever the reason, don't take it personally and please understand you aren't the only one! Soooo many dog owners struggle with this issue. And I help my clients through it often. Please book a call so that we can chat more. https://imaginedogtraining.ca/contact-carina/

He was out. of. control. I was totally frustrated and exhausted from the struggle. I wasn't sure what else to do. I was on the verge of giving up on Cashew. ... Fortunately, I had a local resource that was able to give me a 3rd party perspective and gave me the insights I needed to overcome his wild behaviour. Working with a local dog trainer was totally life changing. I was able to quickly understand how what I was doing was not helping. I immediately knew what to do to change his behaviour for the better. I went from being frustrated to confident and excited to interact with him. Excited to take him on walks. Hopeful that his behaviour was actually fixable. My struggle with Cashew was so special... It's one of the reasons I became a dog trainer myself. Now, I can help clients find relief from their dog's frustrating behaviours to create a bond that they never knew they could have with their dogs. Seeing others overcome the challenges with their dogs and find joy together is THE best feeling in the world. Let's talk about what you're going through with your dog and see if a training program makes sense.
