Assalaamu Alaikum. InshaAllah this Saturday, August 29 will be the tenth day of Muharram, which is the day of Ashura. This day has many virtues. Abdullah ibn Abbas ra reported: The Messenger of Allah saw observed saum (fasting) on the day of Ashura and commanded us to fast on this day [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]. In another hadith, Abu Qatada ra reported: The Messenger of Allah saw was asked about observing As-Saum (the fast) on the tenth day of Muharram, and he replied, It is a...n expiation for the sins of the preceding year [Muslim]. These hadiths highlight the importance of the day of Ashura. We should try our best to fast on this day to be among those that will be granted this great reward. It is a sunnah of prophet Muhammad pbuh to fast on this day as well as one day before or one day after the day of Ashura. This means we should either fast on the 9th and 10th days of Muharram or the 10th and 11th days of Muharram. May Allah grant all of us the ability to perform righteous deeds. See more

Nous prions pour qu'Allah le tout puissant fasse de cette nouvelle année une opportunité pour tous les musulmans et toute l'humanité d'avoir la paix, l'harmonie et le succès dans cette vie et dans l'au-delà. Et nous prions également pour que notre créateur nous accorde la clairvoyance afin que nous puissions distinguer le mal du bi...en. Nous devrions nous remettre en question sur toutes les actions que nous avions posées durant le temps passé de notre vie. Si nos actions étaient conformes à notre religion, nous devrions remercier le seigneur et si nos actions n'étaient pas conformes à notre religion, nous devrions nous repentir. Et nous assurer que cette nouvelle année hijri 1442 sera meilleur que celles du passé. Nous prions Également à dieu qu'il nous accorde la sagesse et la capacité de passer notre temps dans l'adoration et les bonnes actions et dans son obéissance et celle de son prophète bien-aimé (SAWS). Je profite de cette occasion pour me rappeler ainsi qu'à vous tous, que de nombreuses personnes dans différentes régions dans le monde souffrent actuellement et traversent des moments très difficiles. Nous Implorons notre dieu qu'Il leur enlève ces difficultés. Merci à tous et bonne année Hijri.

We pray that almighty Allah makes this new year an opportunity for all the Muslims and the whole humanity to have peace, harmony, and success in this world and the hereafter. We pray that almighty Allah brings the light of truth to everyone all over the world. Throughout our lives, all of us are coming closer to meeting our creator almighty Allah. We must hold ourselves acco...untable for the way we spend our time. Let's reflect on how we have spent our time over the past year. If we have spent it in the obedience of Allah swt, we must be thankful and if not, we must repent to almightly Allah and make sure that our new year, with the will of Allah swt, will be better than the previous one. We pray that Allah swt grants all of us the wisdom and ability to spend each and every moment of our lives in his obedience and the obedience of his beloved prophet pbuh. I want to take this opportunity to remind myself and all of you that many people in different parts of the world are currently suffering and going through very difficult times.
