Important information for those of you who may need directions to find us!!! ~From Mainland Nova Scotia and Victoria/Inverness Counties once in the Port Hastings Rotary follow the sign for TRUNK 4 which will take you through Port Hastings and Port Hawkesbury. Continue straight through Port Hawkesbury until you reach the 3rd set of street lights where you will turn LEFT. This takes you past the Walmart and Superstore. Just past this, take the turn-off onto ARTERIAL HIGHWAY 104... EAST. OR ~ From Cape Breton/Richmond Counties follow TRUNK 4 into the village of St Peter’s. On the west side of the village you cross the River Tillard Bridge onto ARTERIAL HIGHWAY 104 WEST. THEN... ~On some maps ARTERIAL HIGHWAY 104 is called the Miners Memorial Highway and because this is a Controlled Access Highway we are unable to put up any signage. Once you have driven 15 min down the road you will see EXIT 46 (Louisdale, Arichat, Grand Anse). Turn off at EXIT 46 and follow the signs for ROUTE 320 EAST to ROUTE 206 (Isle Madame). When you get to the end of the access road there is a four way intersection, continue straight on ROUTE 320 SOUTH. ***A note to those of you with trailers, approximately 1km down the road on your left is the Dumping Station where you can also fill up with potable water.*** Continue over the Lennox Passage Draw Bridge and about 1km further you will see a fork in the road. Turn RIGHT onto ROUTE 206 (Arichat, Petit de Grat). Follow this road for 3 kms until you reach the MACEACHERN ROAD sign, where you turn RIGHT again, towards the community of Port Royal. ***If you pass it, just stay on the road and continue into the village of West Arichat where you can easily turn in the parking lot of the Acadiaville Hall, which is about 2 kms away.*** Continue RIGHT onto the PORT ROYAL ROAD. At the next intersection turn RIGHT on JANVRIN’S HARBOUR ROAD which takes you through the community of Saint Mary's and then across the single-lane bridge to Janvrin’s Island. Another kilometer and the festival site will be to your RIGHT You have arrived! To assist you, once you are off the 104 access road you will see a large Logo sign and flourescent arrow. These will continue to be posted along the road to ensure you are on the correct path! For anyone who would like further instructions or help with a map please stop at the Nova Scotia Visitor Information Centre found as soon as you cross the Canso Causeway. The Travel Councillors there will be happy to assist you with any questions you have about finding us or other attractions found here on beautiful Cape Breton Island!
