@lutherfotografie is an artist that has found his muse within wedding photography. He creates images that move people. His photography captures the full scope of what it is to be alive. We're excited to be finally releasing this interview with Luther that we conducted back in November 2019. How do you find the balance between art and business? ... I think I'm 90% percent art and 10% percent business. You have to do some concessions, but I've always been focussing on my images. Nowadays my clients come to me for exactly that. They put a lot of faith and confidence in me as their photographer. I need that. How do you go about preparing for your first meeting with a new couple? My preparation is that I don't prepare. I want the conversation to develop naturally, but I do steer the talk towards a deeper level to really get to know the couple and their family and friends. I'm also very interested to know how much the clients know about my photography. What do they see when they see my images? It is very insightful to hear other people talk about my work. It's not that I'm looking for compliments, but I do want to know what they really see in my work. I think I can help them better if I know that. What is your definition of success? For me it's not about awards, publications, or the number of followers on Instagram (follow me!!!) but for me, it is about creating something I really believe in.
