This seems to be the way of the future and iModular is excited to see this happen.

An interview with home owners of a home installed in Ridgetown Ontario last fall (2018/19) iModular: How would you rate your overall experience with us? Owners: We are very satisfied with our experience with iModular.... iModular: What are some of the reasons why you say this? Owners: We found communication A1 for one thing, also any questions or concerns were addressed and not forgotten. If staff didn't have answers they didn't fake it but went away and researched and returned with answers. We enjoyed our interaction with office staff. We found information given to be accurate. iModular: Were you ever concerned about the business transactions regarding the purchase of your home? Owners: We don't recall any concerns and felt all dealings were above board and honest. If anything, we feel iModular has been generous in all they have offered regarding purchase and finishing of our home. If any changes were needed, paperwork was done by staff and we both signed and agreed on the item. Very professional. iModular: How would you rate the quality, compared to a site-built home or other homes you've owned? Owners: We've pretty covered all angles in home build and renovations, and love the quality of this home. [iModular: this was a Kent Home, built in NB Canada] iModular: How about being flexible in floor plans and customizations? Owners: We totally customized our floor plans. Of course we understood some constraints (it has to come in pieces down the highway and we have put up other modular homes previously) but overall very satisfied with what we could do. iModular: How do you feel about timelines and things being on time? Owners: Timeline with building any home is always going to be a challenge. To be honest, it took several months longer than we expected, but that was not due to anything directly related to iModular. Rather, it was related to financing, services, inspection, weather etc. We think it's important that people go into this process realizing that there is going to be delays. That is just an expectation you need to manage. It may be better depending on the season you build in. We built throughout the winter months and we would likely avoid this if we were to build again. iModular: Would you buy from us again. Owners: Absolutely! We are very grateful for all you've done for us. THANK-YOU!! :)

A MODULAR HOUSE IS: - Fully plumbed, wired to the floor level with fixtures installed - final connections to services are the customers responsibility - Usually comes with an extensive warranty... - Can usually be done in much less time (from-order-to-occupancy) than other types of builds A MODULAR HOUSE IS NOT: - Subject to a maximum width of 16 - they can be several stories high or several modules wide

Install on December 6th So excited for them

A MODULAR HOUSE IS: - A house built with same or better fixtures, cabinets and flooring as any other type of build - Transported by flatbed truck and install on the customers site and foundation... A MODULAR HOUSE IS NOT: - A house that can be easily moved once built - at least not any more easily than any site built could be - A house that can be occupied without a final inspection and permit from a local building inspector As you can see by the linked article, Modular houses are not just gaining traction in North America... https://www.theguardian.com//uk-housebuilding-revolution-6

iModular Homes Inc 03.02.2020

A MODULAR HOUSE IS: - Can be customized as desired (does depend on supplier) - There are restrictions for openings and floor spans per building codes, as the house does have to be built in modules and shipped via a flatbed transport truck. - Usually built with fixtures, cabinets and flooring that are chosen by the customer at time the contract or order is drawn up... A MODULAR HOUSE IS NOT: - A house you can place on cement pads only. It needs a proper foundation or at least a crawl space - Built with paneled walls, but is fully dry-walled like any site built house, usually with at least one coat of primer An option you can choose is to have your customized plan rendered in 3D and photo realistic shots. See sample in this post. This house is not built yet...

A MODULAR HOUSE IS: - A house built ready to be placed permanently on a foundation (usually by crane) - A house built indoors in a climate controlled factory setting... A MODULAR HOUSE IS NOT: - A mobile home that can be transported on its own factory built chassis, with axles and wheels of its own - Subject to a maximum width of 16 - they can be several stories high or several modules wide This picture is an example of plans for a Modular home...

iModular Homes Inc 09.01.2020

A MODULAR HOUSE IS: - Built to CSA A277 certificate standards, and is compliant with National Building Code (NBC) of Canada, or provincial Building code - Built strong enough, with extra procedures and materials not normally used in other houses, to endure transport and craning... A MODULAR HOUSE IS NOT: - A house that can be erected without proper building permits and foundation or at least a crawl space - A recreational or otherwise mobile built home (i.e. CSA Z240 MH) (stay tuned; more facts coming) Below is an example from one of our suppliers, Kent Homes. See details via this link... http://www.kenthomes.com/kent-homes-browse-homes-bungalow-s).
