We are almost back in action! As most of you know, we have had to move our location to Shelburne due to space restrictions at our former facility. Also, I have contacted most of you about our class time changes and Covid restrictions, as well as your child’s class time (limited space available). -There will be no more than 7 per class (I aim for under 6)... - Parents must wear a mask while inside the facility, students can choose whether they want to wear a mask (as we fall under the strenuous activity guidelines) -Only 1 parent can accompany their child to class (if they are staying to watch) -socks with grips or martial arts shoes are permitted on the mats Our new classes are: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6-7pm, and 7:15-8:15pm. Future classes will be added as needed. We look forward to seeing you all back in class!

Hello everyone, I hope you are all keeping safe in our current pandemic situation. I just wanted to give a slight update in regards to our reopening. As of the first or second week of July (I don’t yet have the official date), we will be reopening. HOWEVER, due to the new social distancing rules, I am sorry to say that we will be closing our current Orangeville location permanently. There may be opportunities in the Fall for me to find a new Orangeville location, but at this ...time it is not possible. Because of this, I will be teaching my karate classes out of our Shelburne location. As Judo has not been green lighted, we will be the only ones doing classes in the facility. I will be reaching out to everyone to see about whether they are able to follow us to shelburne, and the class times may alter slightly in order to accommodate everyone’s schedules for travel time. When one door closes, another opens, so while it is sad for us to close our Orangeville location, we are thankful to have our Shelburne partners to catch us when we fall. So thank you Impact M.A Shelburne, and I will provide more of an update of what classes will look like towards the end of this month. Thank you all for your continued support. Sensei

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you amazing moms out there! Enjoy your day!

Impact Martial Arts 20.08.2020

As Orangeville has announced its first case of Covid-19, we are going to have a minimum 1 week closure of the dojo, in order to both monitor the spread of the virus, as well as prevent infection. If the closure extends into next week, online content will be made available on our regular class days starting next Tuesday. During our closure, continue to practice at home to maintain your skills, and continue to sanitize if you must leave your home. Impact Martial Arts Orangeville

Impact Martial Arts 16.08.2020

Just a reminder that we are OPEN. We are doing our best to ensure that our parents and students are safe, and are taking extra precautions in the meantime. If you have any inquiries, please feel free to reach out! Impact Martial Arts Orangeville

Impact Martial Arts 02.08.2020

Good Evening! As Covid-19 cases appear to be rising, I just wanted to inform our students that we are doing our best to keep them safe! We will be using Lysol and Clorox to wipe down common areas in the dojo, as well as bring our hand sanitizer for students and parents to use upon entry. If any student (or parent) develops any illness, please do not attend class until symptoms subside.... Thank you.

Anyone that is planning on attending the U.S Open tournament in Orlando, Florida (Disney World) next year (2020) please let me know, as I am looking at fundraising options (ie. gofundme page, chocolate bar sales, etc). One option we were looking at was getting a large Airbnb, and splitting the cost (check out what’s around Disney, you will be AMAZED at what’s available). It is held the first weekend of July, and the Saturday is July 4th in 2020. The tournament itself starts the Thursday, and runs until Saturday night (with the majority of divisions being on Friday). If you have any questions, please let me know.

Impact Martial Arts 06.11.2019

***Clothing Orders*** As of June 18th, all students will be permitted to wear a school t-shirt instead of their regular gi tops. With that being said, I will be doing 1 clothing order for both competition team shirts (the Warrior Martial Arts shirts), as well as Impact Martial Arts -Warrior Program shirts (new design to be announced), and sweaters. If there’s enough interest, I can also look into ball caps. If you would like shirts or sweaters for yourself, or your children, please comment here, and indicate which version of shirt (school style, or competition team style). Also, there is a choice of rash guard style (lighter material) or the cotton t-shirt style. There will only be 1 order going out, so once the stock is in, that is all we have until another large order is placed!
