Just in time for the end of the calendar year, we are pleased to announce that the carbon audit for 2019/20 has been successfully completed by Climate Smart Businesses Inc. Thanks to Steve Vogel and Marianne Pemberton for all their hard work in poring over our fleet, paper use, utilities and a whole host of other company data to run our final numbers. In just our second year of Climate Smart certification, our team achieved an astonishing 26% reduction in GHG intensity (GHG e...missions per dollar of revenue) relative to 2018/19, having removed over 18 tonnes of GHGs on a CO2 equivalent basis from our operations. Key sources of emissions reductions in 2019/20 include the start of our transition to EVs, significantly lower natural gas consumption due to facility upgrades, much less paper use and more fuel efficient staff commuting. Even bigger reductions expected for this fiscal year, as we start to realize the benefits of our biggest sustainability-focused investments and strategies yet. We are pleased to contribute to the Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation's efforts to expand its Emergency Department, which receives more than 50,000 visits annually even as a community-based organization. Hats off to Charlene Giovannetti-King and her colleagues, who are making such a huge local impact.

ISC is pleased to announce that we have completed the full electrification of our light-duty vehicle fleet - to our knowledge, a North American first in our industry. Thanks to Climate Smart for helping us to take this important step - which lowers our GHG footprint by over 20% and results in actual cost savings over the life of all three vehicles. ISC was engaged by Cadillac Fairview to update the entire signage program at Waterfront Centre, including the iconic sail signs originally developed by our team. This project entailed designing, fabricating and installing brand new freestanding signage in the pedestrian square overlooking Canada Place and the North Shore mountains, as well as producing an array of backlit and halo lit fascia signage to mark the various entries into the shopping centre.

ISC is proud to have supported WeWork in expanding its presence in the Cascadia Innovation Corridor. In 2018, it became the principal occupant of one of Vancouvers iconic Bentall towers. To optimize the visual impact of its expansion into these landmark offices, ISC worked closely with WeWork to design, build and install customized exterior signage for the building entrance, courtyard and tower. The finished product leaves its mark at the bustling intersection of Dunsmuir and Burrard, providing outstanding visibility during the day, as well as unmatched visual impact at night.

ISC worked collaboratively with Nicola Wealth to ensure its head office optimally reflected the companys brand image. As a result, Nicolas West Broadway HQ now boasts elegant tower signage, as well as striking fascia signage at the buildings entrance. After dark, the look of the street-level signage transforms, as hidden LED backlighting turns the entry signage into a focal point of this bustling section of West Broadway.

Winner of the award for best freestanding sign in Canada at the 2018 BOCSIes, ISCs iconic signage at BC Womens Hospital is truly transformative. Together with the fascia signage at the entrances and minimalist architectural lighting that wraps the ground floor of the building, the two freestanding helixes generate significant visibility during the day, as well as ambiance at night.

Vancouvers renowned Broadway Tech Centre is home to some of Canadas most innovative companies, which are setting the pace in everything from finance to design to consumer goods. ISC was engaged to support QuadReal and several major tenants with sophisticated tower, freestanding and directional signage at this facility, contributing both to its functionality and visual attractiveness.

One of Canadas most celebrated technology companies, Avigilon made the corner of Robson and Seymour Street the location of its global headquarters. To support Avigilon in making this transition, ISC was engaged to design, fabricate and install fascia signage, tower signage and architectural lighting on all of the buildings exterior elevations. The result combines contemporary LED accent lighting at street level with additional doorway lighting providing an impressive main entrance. The subtle blue in the halo lighting of the channel letter tower signage completes its appearance.
