Impetus Training

@impetustraining was created because I (@ms.whits ) wanted to teach children like these what training looks like and how their bodies should move. There’s so much conflicting information when it comes to training children that it’s hard to know what’s right and what’s wrong. When is it pushing it too far for their growth plates and softer bones or when is it not pushing it enough for beneficial adaptation to occurr? Can kids know enough about how to exercise and how to listen to their body that they can tell when they’re not doing something right? Of course! That’s the knowledge I wanna leave them with. That and also hearing them laugh because this should always be in a fun environment where they feel safe.

Working on our vocabulary - today’s word: Intention Everything you do - should be done with intention. I don’t need you to lift the heaviest weight in the class or to sprint the fastest. I need you to give every rep your best no matter how tired you are.
