Here’s a closer look at this wedding painting from The Permanent. The venue has a special place in the couple’s hearts, so we focused on capturing the architectural detail of the room.

Here's a snapshot from an Indian wedding where we had lots of colour to capture. Sometimes it can be difficult to gain control over a painting with a lot of bright colour, but constant addition of transparent layers of paint is what gives the painting a cohesive look in the end. Here you can see the beginning stages of layers of turquoise and earthy colours.

The calm before the party kicks off... The time before the guests arrive is a chance for us to take the small details in and take in the bigger picture before the flurry of excitement and action kicks in.

The first dance is the most magical moment of a wedding, and it's our favourite to capture, since it signifies the beginning of the couple's married life together.

Here's a piece we created at the Creme show last year. The event was a real highlight for us and the painting brings back some good memories!
