Impulse is ready for Hamilton’s Covid Red Zone! We are taking the health and safety of our dancers and staff very seriously. We’ve added space to a studio, modified our class schedule (check your emails Senior Ballet, Monday Senior Conditioning, and Monday Primary Conditioning!!), and we have enhanced our screening protocols and our cleaning and disinfection procedures. We will continue to wear masks and will keep the facility capacity low with dancer drop-off/pick-up and the use of different doors/entrances. Years ago, I choreographed a small group contemporary piece for this group of powerful Impulse dancers. It was to my favourite motivational speech...and it was very relevant at the time...and WOW! It sure is relevant now while we go through the hardest challenge Impulse has faced. Keep dancing and hoping and pushing forward The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t how hard you hit; it’s about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done. After a busy weekend, Impulse is back with a new class schedule starting tomorrow, Mon Nov 23rd.
