Two new courses added to In The Grain Workshops schedule. Both are starting next week. On Monday and Wednesday evenings we will craft a unique cutting board that is segmented and held together with magnets. Tuesday and Thursday evenings we will create a wonderful cherry dovetailed box complete with lift lid.

Just finished a three piece cutting board held together with magnets. Use one or two or three to cut or maybe one to serve. Check our webpage shortly to sign up for the evening course.

Will be running up to A&M Wood Specialty to pick out some live edge slabs for tables...

Some more work on the live edge side table. We will be running this course in about a week or two.

Thats wh...at happens when the wood is milled and allowed to slowly air dry in a barn for 30 years, instead of getting dried in a steam kiln. . Thats what happens when the craftsman doesnt use stain or pigments to alter the appearance of the wood but instead rubs on a clear penetrating oil. . And, the best part? Its even prettier in person.
