In The Scheme Of Things

Not done the built-ins yet, but they are happy to get their tv up from the basement. If only for the weekend.

Today was just sanding, tomorrow is more sanding and then priming. The base will be set and things can start going in.

I spent today getting one step closer to finishing our fireplace redesign. Started laying the glazed tile in harringbone pattern for the hearth and final coat on the 150+ year old barn post that will be our new mantle.

Custom shelving and custom fireplace built and installed. I love how the customers decided to do four shelves with the clock in the centre instead of two long shelves. It adds so much more character to the kitchen. And because I know they would want me to say this: their counters are not that cluttered, some of that stuff is to go on the shelves.

Backsplash is up and grouted. I really like the tiles on this one.
