Hands Off Gretel are one of the most exciting young bands in the country right now, and a regular request from Fuelled By Cider festival-goers. Hands Off Gretel have created the perfect soundtrack of sugar-coated grunge-punk to vent and rail against the issues of body image, mental health, celebrity, childhood and loneliness all of which were addressed from a fiercely female, unapologetic, feminist perspective. Over the last few years they have gigged relentlessly and swelled their UK and international fan base, resulting in a largely sold out UK album tour, busy European dates and appearances at major festivals including, Isle of Wight, Camden Rocks Festival, Y Not and Kendal Calling. They have also played the BBC Introducing stages at Tramlines and Humber Street Sesh. The band have received critical acclaim on their self-released album I Want The World’ (2019). With Classic Rock putting this at No.15 in the Top 50 rock albums of 2019 ‘so far’ and Kerrang Magazine giving it a solid 4/5 Ks. In Cider Festival 2021 is all about creating positive energy, and our line-up certainly reflects that. One of the most positive, conscious and damn talented acts in the South West go by the name of The Scribes. *** In Cider Festival 2021 update *** Many of you have been in touch to ask whether In Cider 2021 will be going ahead, and we're pleased to say that the NEWS IS STILL GOOD, despite the ongoing changes to rules and restrictions. Our hosts Pontins Sand Bay have been open for many weeks now, accommodating and entertaining guests. They are fully compliant with all regulations and happy for In Cider to go ahead on February 5th - 7th.... As things stand the festival will run with a restricted capacity. The actual number will depend on government guidelines nearer to the event, but under current rules we can only accommodate 50 more people, so please purchase your ticket quickly if you want to be involved in this great weekend. www.inciderfestival.com The festival is unlikely to look or run exactly the same as previous years. We may adapt timings, line-up, site layout and access to facilities to ensure that the event can go ahead safely and inclusively. We will of course keep you informed of any major changes as they happen. Whatever happens, the Fuelled By Cider commitment to quality and fun remains as strong as ever so your experience will not be diminished! Tickets will remain on sale past the new capacity, in the hope that this will increase as restrictions ease.
