Festivals & Events Ontario’s Virtual Summit is focused on ADAPT.PIVOT.EVOLVE and we're highlighting how we pivoted to meet the changing needs of our clients in 2020. Many events went virtual to stay connected with their communities and some new programming even popped up! We joined online virtual including: World Buskers United, Kitchen Cabaret, Town of LaSalle's Strawberry Festival, Richmond Hill’s Ed Sackfield Arena Virtual Celebration, and Niagara Falls Canada Day. When p...ublic health requirements suddenly changed, Town of LaSalle's Reverse Parade had to pivot to a Virtual Visit with Santa & Friends! We were thrilled to offer a Jack Frost juggling show AND interactive juggling workshop for their program. For Niagara Falls Canada Day, we created a 'Canadians are Tough as Nails' show as part of their program celebrating all thing Canadian. We also worked with Richmond Hill to offer education on new health & safety protocols through their virtual programming with our Physical Distancing Officer! Mayor Jim Diodati met with Santa Claus to talk about our brand new drive-through Santa Claus Parade. We've got loads of entertainment and displays for the whole... family to enjoy from the safety of your vehicle or the free Santa Shuttle. And of course Santa Claus will be back! He knows you've been good and hopes to see you there Project SHARE of Niagara Falls will be there, too! Monetary donations and canned goods are greatly appreciated as always and will be accepted at the end of the parade. So mark your calendars for Saturday, November 14th and help us kick of the holiday season! The parade runs from 3 to 5 p.m. on Queen Street in Downtown Niagara Falls. After the parade, the official tree lighting ceremony at City Hall will be broadcast on our website at 5 p.m. We are proud to partner with Niagara Health Foundation for their Celebration of Lights and encourage everyone to honour someone special this year and make a donation at lightsforhealth.com.
