In this complimentary webinar, our guest speakers will address:... The role the cross-reactivity of proteins play in the interpretation of IgG food intolerance testing. What are panallergens? Examples of cross-reactivities. When is a cross-reactivity clinically relevant? An associated case study. Registration now open for this informative webinar presented by Doctor's Data, Inc. Dan Kalish DC will discuss how microbiome testing can be an integral part of your telehealth practice, and help you reach a broader range of patients especially during times when patients are concerned about in-clinic visits. You will learn a three-step system that shows how to read comprehensive stool tests, and apply the results to your most complex patient cases. Through case-based learni...ng, we’ll review how to look at microbiome results, properly treat GI organ dysfunction, and understand how and when to treat GI pathogens. By looking at issues like sequencing of treatments and when to do leaky gut repair or GI immune system repair programs, you’ll get a better understanding of how to handle GI cases of all types within a reproducible system so you’re not re-inventing your protocols with every new patient. Link to register: https://register.gotowebinar.com/regist/7495257923246880267 According to the Centers for Disease Control, 42% of Americans are considered obese. Public Health of Canada reported in 2017 that 64% of Canadians over 18 years of age are overweight or obese. Interestingly in 2013, the Mayo Clinic published a study that showed the top 10 reasons people visit their doctors, 6 out of t...he 10 can be linked to excessive adipose tissue including joint pain, back problems, hypertension, diabetes, disorders of lipid metabolism and mental health. Armed with this knowledge, practitioners need to understand the role that sex, and adrenal hormones play in weight management, energy expenditure and cravings. In addition, the hormones on the DUTCH test will be discussed in view of other important hormones such as thyroid, insulin, leptin and more. Finally, perimenopausal weight gain will be reviewed due to its seemingly sudden appearance in a woman’s 40’s as she begins her transition. See more
