Indian Head Stage Left Players 11.12.2020

Hey Everyone, we're back! No not on the stage, but back with another old time radio play. We have been busy recording and editing and as promised the first of 2 new plays will be released Tuesday July 7th. "X Minus One: Skulking Permit", is a fun piece of Sci Fi about a space colony called New Deleware that hasn't heard from the Earth in 200 years and the results this has had on its inhabitants. But thats not all. As a bonus we have a very special cast lined up for this show. All of our voice actors, and tech people are current and past members and coaches of the Indian Head High School Drama Club. So tune in next week for X Minus One and stay tuned for further news and announcements regarding our future projects and when to we will be releasing the third of our Old Time Radio Projects. Just watched some interactive theatre live from Edmonton called "Tracks". Very cool experiment in maintaining the interactive nature of live theatre with the technology we are leaning on to keep us together in the age of social distancing. If you are interested check it out but hurry ad they are close to sold out https://tickets.fringetheatre.ca/

So the link for our radio play of Fibber McGee and Molly was shared through Film Rescue (from here in Indian Head) to a customer that is a part of a radio preservation project in the USA. In an email to back to Film Rescue he wrote this: "They did a nice job with the recreation!", also "It's rare to get a recreation group that has such talented singers...the new original ending was quite funny". and then he wrote "I'll share it with our group as I'm sure the members will en...joy it. The grand daughter of Jim Jordan (The actual actor who portrayed Fibber McGee) is a part of our group." Small world ain't it
