I knew there would be a fair share of black and white imagery from this collaboration because @delina.langridge does b+w in the most vibrant way I wanted to make sure that the makeup complimented the shadow and light which is why I opted for a soft graphic liner and a strong contour to accentuate @jessamylb’s beautiful (really really beautiful) features! I loved having the opportunity to explore a style that is something so different for me and feel so very inspired to keep creating

Sometimes there’s just nothing better than a colour wash and a pop of sparkle

The brief was natural, as she doesn’t typically wear a lot of makeup, but make the eyes pop With eyes like these, my job was pretty easy! I love to add warmth with burnt orange tones when working with beautiful blue eyes (also, can you believe this is her natural lip colour just with some clear gloss?!)

A natural beauty and a heart full of gold I was so excited when Kelsey asked me to do her makeup for some family photos because I was actually Kelsey’s first employee at @farmersdaughterinteriors I learnt so much from her as an entrepreneur, a friend, a creative and now a Mum! Kelsey encouraged and supported me in my journey back to Australia to become a makeup artist aaaaand she literally saved my life (if you know, you know. If you don’t know, a story for another time ).... I’m a dual Canadian and Australian citizen - I’ve lived in Swift Current for the past 3 years 2. I have a Bachelor in Fashion Merchandising and now work full time in HR ... 3. There is no greater joy to me than applying makeup on others, but I really don’t get the same joy from applying it on myself - so if you see me around, you can expect something pretty minimal 4. My bf and I have a 5 month old bernedoodle named Frank and we are obsessed with him. Likeeeee obsessed. 5.
