Canadian Muslims who critique the police aren't engaging in hate speech. That's why NCCM is deeply concerned by the narrative of an Online Petition backed by L...iberal MP Kevin Lamoureax, which is urging Parliament to protect vocations, most notably police officers, from 'hate speech'. For far too long, law enforcement officers have been protected by a failed system, one that lacks police accountability. This petition, too, represents that same narrative - which will again, work towards diminishing the voices of marginalized communities. NCCM is calling on MP Kevin Lamoureax to retract this petition and instead commit to taking real action to challenge modalities of failed police accountability.

Hope he gets some relief with his family! Innocent like Umar are punished continuously in India. Let us pray for Umar so he gets out of this fake case !
